“ I love Allora. We’ve been regulars since discovering it nearly 15 years ago. My family is of Italian descent and have owned Italian restaurants in Portland for many years. So, I’m picky about my Italian food to say the least. Allora is owned by an Italian so, right there, you know the recipes are authentic. Every dish they serve is perfectly done. My favorite is Carbonara and the best I’ve had in the city. They even make their own GF pasta and it’s also the best I’ve had in the city. The ambiance is great (love the outdoor dining in the summer) and the service is always fantastic. Simply put, this is where Italians go for Italian food in Portland. 5 stars! ”

“ If you want a break from the larger Italian restaurants in town, this place is worth a visit. Small intimate space, lots of regulars, the owner making the rounds and great food. Our small group had everything from a cocktail, to a gluten-free vegetarian entree, the more traditional meat & pasta dishes and desert - enjoyed them all. If the weather is warm, it's on a relatively quiet street, so outdoor dining is more peaceful than most in the area. ”
